Paella Proof!

Here are photos of the paella that I made. The first photo is the Bomba rice cooked in the paella stock. The second and third photos are the finished product! The clams were steamed; the shrimp were sautéed in garlic butter. Seafood cooked before adding to the rice…..

I went to Hudson Yards again yesterday to view FEMMES, FLEURS DE VILLES, 16 floral. mannequins; celebrating different iconic women including Lady Gaga, Billie Holiday, and others. Really creative and beautiful.

Of course, I went to Little Spain, which is downstairs this building, to eat and people watch. In the market, I picked up more paella stock. This time, I picked up squid ink stock. I cannot wait to see and taste how this will come out!

Culinary adventures in NYC! I would never been able to find these amazing, helpful ingredients anyplace else as easily…. Bon Appetite!

  1. Looks great! I am sure it tasted yummy. I remember my mother making what I called black rice using canned squid.
