This lovely looking cake is what I gave myself for my birthday! I have been coveting this cake for a while now….. I finally had a good reason to treat myself!

This amazing dessert is two layers of meringue and two layers of delicious cream. Chocolate shavings are the outer layer. This sounds simple, but the skill, technique and love are pretty evident in every bite! I was truly impressed and pleased with this masterpiece…..

This successful bakery was started by a French pastry chef from the North of France, by the name of Frederic Vaucamps; opening in 1997 in France.

There are 14 locations in France alone. Other locations are in the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, U.S., Canada, Japan, and the Czech Republic.
